Angelo Peter Preketes was educated at the University of Sydney and graduated in Medicine in 1989.  He subsequently spent his junior years of training at the Royal Prince Alfred Hospital and St George Hospital.  He initially commenced his Plastic Surgical Training in 1997 at Westmead Hospital and rotated through the various aspects of Plastic Surgical Training including microsurgery, burns surgery, cosmetic surgery, hand surgery, skin cancer surgery and paediatric surgery.  He qualified with The Fellowship from the Royal Australasian College of Surgeons as a Plastic & Reconstructive Surgeon in 2000.

Following that he spent a year being mentored by the various senior Plastic Surgeon Consultants in Sydney in the finer arts of cosmetic surgery.  He set up practice in the Penrith area in 2001 where he has built a large and successful practice.  His main areas of interest include skin cancer, hand surgery, cosmetic surgery and microsurgery.
